Peruvian Plantel is a full accoyo herdsire with a very dense fleece and great character. He was the Accoyo male chosen first in the 1998 import. His bold looks and beautiful head are outstanding. He has excellent conformation and is one of those phenotypically-handsome males who “stop you in your tracks.” We use accoyo Plantel in our breeding program when we need to add density/wool volume, bone structure, fleece character, and especially phenotype. If you want to add all the above and not compromise color, consider breeding Plantel to your colored females. He passes the color through without compromising his other qualities as a herdsire.
