The
famous lines of accoyo Peruvian Mr. President (white) and accoyo Peruvian
Timoteo (fawn), both pictured below, merged to create this gorgeous female, MFI Peruvian
Starletta.
It is easy to see where this female gets her beauty. Her grandsire
on her dam's side, accoyo Peruvian Mr. President, sold in our 2002 Breeder’s Choice Auction to
A and A Alpacas for a well-deserved $155,000! Starletta’s sire, DPA Quetzal, is the outstanding fawn son of accoyo Peruvian
Timoteo, who has already produced champions for us such as Peruvian
Monsanto and Peruvian Jaguar, pictured below. Her grand dam, Peruvian Cornus, is an intensely dense, typey white female with outstanding fleece characteristics.
MFI Peruvian Starletta got the best of both accoyo lines in her dense, crimpy fleece!
Both of her grand dams have produced outstanding crias for us year after year and Starletta’s dam, My Peruvian Synchopation, is already following in their footsteps.
But that’s not all! We are offering the one and only breeding to
MFI Peruvian Jericho with Starletta!
His fleece has won numerous awards including First Place, Color Champion, Best Brightness, Breeder’s Choice, Handspinner’s Choice and JUDGES’ CHOICE for Best Huacaya Fleece in the 2002 AOBA National Fleece Show.
His elite, dark fawn fleece beat the best white and colored fleeces
at the National Fleece show in the Judge’s Choice
competition. It was a unanimous, three-judge choice!
Looking further, you will note that Jericho’s first crias have already made their marks in the show ring across the country. We have included pictures of just some of Jericho’s first, outstanding crias.
Majestic Meadow’s Jeremiah (co-owned with Majestic Meadows Alpacas), a beige Jericho son,
won First Place and Color Championships at the largest shows this year, including the 2004 AOBA Halter Show and the 2004 All American
Futurity. You can also see Peruvian Breathless, a multi-champion rose-grey Jericho
daughter, and Panera, another multi-champion fawn Jericho daughter.
Three multi-champions out of three offspring shown this spring!
All Jericho offspring’s fleeces display luster, fineness, density and
elite fleece character. If brightness is important to you,
come evaluate some fleeces and you will see that all of Jericho’s offspring have incredible
brightness as well. His daughter MFI Peruvian Result’s fleece won First Place and Best Brightness in the 2004 AOBA National Conference Fleece Show.
Peruvian Mondavi and Peruvian Geranium are the only Jericho
offspring offered for sale in the auction this year.
Starletta is the only female that is bred to him. Jericho's
outside breedings are limited to 5 per year, and they are already
sold out until 2006!
An extremely rare, sought-after breeding and a female with the
quality needed to take any breeding program to the
top... this is the unique offering of MFI Peruvian Starletta! |
