My Peruvian Maxine -- 2004 Breeder's Choice Auction

This is the first time Libby is releasing a suri female from her small, private herd. My Peruvian Maxine is the special blending of the rare and wonderful accoyo Torbio and Ricardo bloodlines. With her beautiful, bearded head, gorgeous fleece, and outstanding conformation, she will make an outstanding show and production female.

When Libby first saw Maxine's dam DPF Maranga (who then had her daughter Ginger at her side), it was love at first sight. Looking at her dam’s pedigree, Maxine’s grand dam is PPPeruvian Rapport 5115, from the third Peruvian import. Anyone who looks up this female in their records knows exactly how wonderful she is and how spectacular her cria have been. Her grand sire is none other than accoyo Peruvian Torbio, sold in our Breeder’s Choice Auction to Mike and Stephanie Barnhart, The Alpaca Trading Company, for a “steal” at $160,000. While we don’t own Torbio any longer, we couldn’t be more proud! We originally purchased accoyo Peruvian Torbio and Peruvian Ricardo from Double Play Alpacas when they sold their entire herd a few years ago. These were two of their signature suri males, used very little, but proving themselves to be some of the most pre-potent suri males in the alpaca industry today.

On her sire’s side is Ricardo, the incredible brown son of Peruvian Aureo and Peruvian Destina. His fleece is a rich brown color and just some of his champion offspring can be seen in this catalog as we are proudly offering Ricardo for sale as Lot #20. My Peruvian Maxine sells with full Magical Farms guarantees. She is pre-registered in the 2004 Magical Farms/Ameripaca Customer Appreciation Futurity held on Sunday, the day after the Auction. She also sells with a breeding to a Magical Farms herdsire; therefore, her first cria will be eligible to compete in Customer Appreciation Futurities when he or she is between the ages of five months and two years of age.
