Last
Impression sold to
Five Star Alpacas in the 2004 Breeder's Choice Auction.
When you see MFI Peruvian Last Impression’s gorgeous white
fleece (see picture below), we believe you will agree that she no doubt belongs in the top 5% of the best huacaya fleeces in North America. This is the kind of female we try to buy whenever we see them so she is very hard to part with! Her fleece has the density, fleece character, and fineness we are all aiming for in our breeding programs.
To top it off, she’s out of two lines of females which we value for their consistent quality and production year after year. Last Impression’s sire is Peruvian Accoyo White Gold, an extremely dense son of accoyo 4Peruvian Presidente and accoyo Peruvian Candelaria. Her dam is the daughter of accoyo Peruvian Mr. President and Peruvian Lorena, a dense white female with an incredible fleece.
As if this wasn’t exciting enough, we are breeding MFI Peruvian Last Impression to accoyo Peruvian Don Juan, a magnificent male with outstanding fiber and conformation. At eleven years old, Don Juan won the handspinner’s competition at the AOBA Midwinter Fiber to Fashion Show, beating alpacas as much as sixyears younger! His fleece is still crimpy with a lovely, soft hand.
We have no doubt that once you’ve had the opportunity to look at her, she will make a lasting impression on you! |
