Take a moment to enjoy the fineness of this
light brown fleece!
Faustina is a daughter of MFI Peruvian
Donovan and Francesa, an awesome daughter of accoyo Peruvian Dracula and Peruvian Sunflower.
EVERY SINGLE ONE of Francesa’s five offspring that have been born on our farm have truly been fantastic!
This is the first daughter we are offering for sale. Females who produce quality crias each year regardless of the males they are bred to are truly treasures.
Add this Francesa daughter to your breeding program and create your own treasures!
Her sire, Peruvian Donovan, is our fawn signature herdsire and a proven producer of
champions. Donovan is a son of accoyo Peruvian Augusto, who
sold at our 2000 Breeder’s Choice Auction for a world record
$226,000. We entered Donovan’s fleece (and those of a
couple of his offspring), in the 2004 AOBA National Conference
Fleece Show, the largest alpaca fleece show ever held where the
competition was staggering. Peruvian Donovan, now five years
old, won First Place Male Fleece, Color
Champion, and Breeder’s Choice.
This means he competed against fleeces of ALL age groups to win
the championship! In addition, his daughter MFI Peruvian
Ramanda won First Place, Color
Champion, and Mill's Choice
while his other daughter, MFI Peruvian Almerea, won First
Place, Brown Color Champion,
and Breeder's Choice Fleece! (Almerea
also won First Place, Color Champion and Best Crimp at the 2003
AOBA National Fleece Show.)
With Peruvian Donovan, accoyo Peruvian Augusto and accoyo Dracula in her pedigree,
Faustina is truly a special female.
Here’s where we think this gets very exciting... we plan to breed Faustina to
Black Peruvian Royal
Forest, the black son of accoyo Peruvian Royal Fawn, before the auction!
We are excited to see the result of this incredible combination of genetics! |
