Silver Shadow's Coalfire is a stunning black suri with beautiful luster and locks.

As her full name would suggest, Coalfire is the daughter of the famous grey suri Silver Shadow, an outstanding male and very consistent producer of silver-grey, rose-grey, and black crias. Silver Shadow is the offspring of 4Peruvian Silver Bullet and 4Peruvian Silver Orchid, two grey suri parents. He has produced 62% female crias. When bred to silver grey females, he has produced silver-grey/rose-grey/black crias 100% of the time, and 67% of the time they are silver-grey or rose-grey. When bred to rose-grey females he has produced 100% black crias. Even more amazing, when bred to fawn or beige, he has produced 60% silver-grey or rose-grey crias! When bred to brown/maroon females, he has produced 57% silver-grey or rose-grey crias!

Coalfire's dam Classy Act is also a grey suri. Another Classy Act cria, a grey suri male named MFI Conquistador, sold in our 2002 Breeder’s Choice Auction to Alpacas of America.

With Silver Shadow's strong color genetics and a grey dam, this pretty black suri female can be bred for either black or grey crias. Coalfire sells with a free breeding to a Magical Farms or Aurness Alpacas herdsire, including the famous, multi-champion black suri herdsire King Kong. King Kong was purchased by Aurness Alpacas at the 2001 Breeder’s Choice Auction for a world record $250,000!
