Here’s an example of the offspring that have made CPeruvian Silvio such a shining star in the Magical Farms breeding program and one of many reasons CPeruvian Silvio is so famous! We co-own My Peruvian Chateau with Tripp and Ty, TNT Farms, and we were surprised, but pleased, when they decided to offer Chateau from their small herd in the 2004 Breeder’s Choice Auction. The character in this young female’s fleece is nothing short of amazing. It is fine with outstanding character and density. These are rare qualities indeed, as anyone who breeds for grey or black can tell you!

My Peruvian Chateau’s sire, CPeruvian Silvio, is one of the most consistent producers of grey/black crias we have ever seen. He was hand selected in Peru by the importers and never offered at auction. We honestly do not know of any other grey male who can match his color consistency with silver grey/rose grey/black. Every grey or black program should have some Silvio’s genetics!

Chateau's dam is MFI Peruvian Calypso, a dark grey female out of 5Peruvian Clavella, by the famous black male Peruvian Matador. Clavella has produced a colorful range of crias each year since we purchased her, including grey and black, and she is in our due barn again as we write this narrative! With both parents such solid producers of black and grey, who can look for a finer production potential or better color pedigree in a grey female?

Chateau is truly a treasure and we believe she will be an incredible addition to any farm’s colorful breeding program, especially in silver grey, rose grey or black. With Silvio’s dominant color genes behind her, many things are possible with this young female.

Chateau sells with full Magical Farms guarantees. She is pre-registered in the 2004 Magical Farms & Ameripaca Customer Appreciation Futurity to be held on Sunday, October 10, the day after the Auction. She sells with a free breeding to a Magical Farm’s herdsire; therefore, her first cria will be eligible to compete in future Customer Appreciation Futurities when he or she is between the ages of five months and two years of age. You can finance My Peruvian Chateau for up to four years at 1% over prime with only 25% down.
