Breeding
for color? This female has the
basics of what it takes to create the BEST DARK crias and is how many
breeders are getting stunning colors.
Illumination's dam is Peruvian Itabuna, pictured below.
Peruvian Itabuna was chosen in the first round of the 1997 peruvian
import and her first cria was Peruvian Ivanna, daughter of Peruvian
Dom Timbo. Ivanna's many
winnings have been featured in our herdsire catalog, newlsetter, and
elsewhere!
Pictured
below is her half-brother Peruvian Jericho who at AOBA this year, in the
largest alpaca fleece show ever held, won First Place, Fawn Color Champion, and Judges Choice.
His dark fawn fleece was unanimously chosen by all three Judges at
the 2002 AOBA Fleece Show as the Best Fleece in Show.
His 2002 fleece also won Breeders' Choice and Best Brightness and
his 2001 Fleece won First Place
and Hand Spinner's Choice! Illumination's
Fleece won
2nd Place
and Mills Choice.
Her sire is Peruvian Dakotia, a champion in his own right and the producer of
colorful crias ranging in color from black to grey to white.
Now that
we've established Illumination's outstanding color lineage, consider
breeding her to Peruvian Black Mesquite, Peruvian Black Knight, or Black
Peruvian
Royal
Forest! Or, consider a grey
herdsire! Imagine the colorful
cria any of these breedings would create! She will be ready to breed soon
and she sells with a free breeding. If
you have wished your farm was more successful breeding high-quality
colors, My Peruvian Illumination is a female whose offspring are destined
for greatness!! She is truly a
stepping stone to the best colors and is one of Libby's personal alpacas.
Peruvian Illumination is eligible to compete in
our 2002 Breeder's Choice Customer Appreciation Futurity and has been
pre-entered for you. Her first
offspring by one of our herdsires will be eligible to compete in future
futurities between the ages of six months and two years.
She sells with our full farm reproductive guarantees.
